Black Bean Brownies

Black Bean BrowniesMakes about 24 Brownies
Bake 25-35 minutes and do the toothpick test in the center.
Allow Brownies to cool before cutting them.
13 x 9" pan with parchment paper
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup sweet butter
3 tablespoons Cacao powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups cooked, drained and rinsed black beans
1 ripe frozen banana
1 tablespoon pure vanilla
1/4 cup agave or raw honey
2 cups chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Line bottom of pan with parchment paper, rub or spray with oil
Melt butter and chocolate stiring thoroughly
Gently stir in Cacao and salt. Mix well and set aside
Using a steel blade on your food processor, add well drained beans, vanilla, banana and 1 egg.
Process 2-3 minutes until mixture is smooth, blend in chocolate mixture and process until smooth
In a separate bowl, beat 3 about 1-2 minutes or until tey are light and fluffy
Add and mix Agave another 1-2 minutes
Add bean mixture into eggs and mix until thoroughly blended. Add 1 cup of chopped walnuts
Pour batter into prepared pan and top with remaining walnuts
Bake about 25 - 35 minutes
Store in refrigerator
